The man, the ego, the time I got angry

About me, it really feels like the Tinder section of the blogging world doesn’t it?

Here I sit on my side of the screen trying to convince you that I am worthy to blog my opinions and that you should definitely read every post. You sit on your side and make mental notes…

What is actually happening is both of us are sitting wondering who is going to pick up the bill and pay for the coffee.

Yes, we are that predictable as people. We’d like to think we aren’t, but we are if we are completely honest with one another.

My name is Joe Diedericks and I used to be a great blogger. I used to be a technology blogger to be exact. After reaching 1000 postings I just felt empty and that I had nothing more to say on the topic. Somehow I fell out of love with it and stopped.

Then we all became microbloggers with the evolution of Facebook, Twitter and the likes. That was fun wasn’t it? We all got to blurt out our feelings for the world to see, or just family and friends depending on your privacy settings.

But we lost the voice we had. 140 characters are simply not enough to convey an idea and motivate your position on it. But blogging is different, we get to do that. We dive into the topic and think about it before we commit it to the website.

I started WTFDude?! because I am tired of the bull the media is putting out there for us as the public to read. I got angry when I read an Angie Oeh article and I wanted somewhere to voice my view and concerns. Somewhere it doesn’t have to be sugar coated and packed to make get more page views.

So that is me. My name is Joe Diedericks and I am going to be a great blogger again.
